Release & Claim™
A guided experience to release what you've been holding and claim who you're becoming.
A 90-minute breath-centered, body-led experience for people who feel a version of themselves persisting that no longer serves them and can't let go through thinking alone.
The mind can understand what needs to change. It can name the pattern, analyze the wound, trace it back to its origin.
But the body holds what the mind can't process. Unfinished stress responses. Unreleased emotions. Old survival patterns stored in your muscles, your nervous system, your breath.
You can think about letting go. You can talk about it. You can decide you're ready. But release doesn't happen in your thoughts. It happens in your body.
I hold space and guide you through a structured experience that activates your body's natural ability to release and claim. Through movement, breathwork, and somatic activation, your body completes what your mind has been trying to finish.
This work is grounded in research. You'll move through exercises designed to activate your nervous system's natural discharge mechanisms—the way your body is built to release stored stress and incomplete survival responses. This comes from somatic research like Peter Levine's Waking the Tiger which documents how the body holds tension and how it naturally lets go when given the right conditions. The breathwork then takes you deeper, activating release mechanisms studied in somatic psychology. This isn’t woo. It’s biology.
What happens
We move through four phases together.
Phase 1: Grounding & Intention
Before we meet, I'll send you customized reflection questions based on what you share in your reflection. These questions help us get clear on what you're releasing and who you're claiming to be. I'll also ask you to bring two tokens to the session: one representing what you're letting go (an object you can hold and eventually discard, bury, or donate), and one representing who you're becoming (something to wear or hold as a reminder of this work).
We begin the session by centering around what we'll be releasing and claiming. You'll share what came up for you in your reflections, and we'll talk about the tokens you brought. These tokens deepen the experience and become part of your own closing ritual after our session.
Phase 2: Embodied Release Through Movement
Your body has been storing what your mind moved past. We activate your body's natural ability to discharge what's been trapped.
Through guided exercises, your body begins to release stored tension. This prepares your body to go deeper—into the breath, where claiming happens.
Phase 3: Breathwork
Once your body has released through movement, we shift into breathwork—rapid, continuous breathing that moves you into deeper emotional processing. Three rounds. Breath holds. This is where claiming happens. You breathe and transform into who you're becoming.
Phase 4: Integration
We rest. Your nervous system integrates everything that moved through you. I hold space while your body reorganizes itself around what it has released and what's true now.
Then we talk. You share what came up, and I witness whatever needs to be witnessed. If you're working with a therapist, this is ideal work to process in your next session. Somatic experiences can surface things that deepen when held by a trained professional.
As we close, I guide you through completing the ritual with your tokens, anchoring the work beyond our session.
What people experience
"Priscilla doesn't just help you talk through your problems; she helps your body speak for itself. The 'Release & Claim' session was the catalyst I needed to step away fully from what was no longer serving me. Priscilla's guidance is gentle yet uncompromising, and she explains things on both scientific & spiritual levels (which I personally love). I walked away actually tearing up, and feeling deeply grateful for the space she held for me. I highly recommend this!"
— Monika"Like Ophelia surrendering to the river, I've let go of the self that once protected me. The somatic approach was incredibly effective, and I appreciated how you waded through the process with me. It was as if my body was afraid to let go. With your gentle guidance, I was able to release resentment and fear that had been weighing me down."

READ BEFORE BEGINNING YOUR REFLECTION
Release & Claim is a somatic facilitation experience designed for people who are actively engaged in personal development work and are in a stable, grounded place in their lives. It combines movement, breathwork, and integration to support the body in releasing what cognitive work alone has not reached.
This experience is not therapy. It is not a substitute for mental health treatment.
It is not appropriate for people with a diagnosis of PTSD, complex or unresolved trauma, or active psychiatric conditions. If you have a significant trauma history or mental health diagnosis, you should be in active care with a therapist or mental health professional before participating.
It is also not appropriate for people with a history of seizures, stroke, cardiovascular conditions, recent surgery, or other medical conditions that could be affected by physical movement or breathwork. If you are unsure, consult your healthcare provider before submitting your reflection.
If you are unsure whether this experience is right for you, the reflection process will help clarify that. Priscilla reviews every reflection before confirming a session. If this experience is not the right fit, she will let you know.
About your guide
I'm Priscilla Zorrilla, a registered yoga teacher (RYT® 200), and certified holistic coach who has spent years studying how we override ourselves, how the body holds what the mind can't process, and what it takes to return to our own truth.
My approach is rooted in biology, nervous system science, and somatic psychology—not mysticism.
This work started when I realized I couldn't think my way into becoming who I wanted to be. Specifically, I had a hard time stepping confidently into my entrepreneurial self after 18 years in a traditional career.
All I knew is that I absolutely had to embody it. The practices I was drawn to combine in Release & Claim gave me a way to release old patterns and claim the version of myself I was ready to step into. I've since refined this experience through facilitating others who were ready to do the same.
I'm also in therapy myself. When I did my own Release & Claim work, processing what surfaced with my therapist afterward deepened the integration significantly. That's why I encourage people working with therapists to schedule a session shortly after our time together. This work complements therapy beautifully.
Release & Claim emerged from that experiential foundation. I've tested it, refined it, and held space for people moving through what they’ve struggled to release.
This is 90 minutes of held space for the work your body has been asking you to do.
Frequently Asked Questions
-
No. This is somatic facilitation. If you're working with a therapist, this can complement that work. Consider scheduling a session shortly after Release & Claim to continue processing what comes up.
-
You don't need to be in therapy to participate. This experience is designed for people who are stable and grounded in their lives. If you're already working with a therapist, consider scheduling a session shortly after Release & Claim. Somatic work can bring things to the surface that benefit from being processed with a trained professional. This experience complements therapeutic work; it doesn't replace it.

You don't need any prior experience. I guide you through every step. The exercises are gentle and designed to activate your body's natural ability to release. If anything feels too intense, we pause. You're always in control of your experience.

Release can be quiet. It can be subtle. Your body will do what it's ready to do, and that's exactly what's meant to happen.

It’s beautiful and I will hold space for whatever arises. If at any point you need to pause or stop, we will. You are always in control of your experience.
